Our Digestive Enzyme Capsules combine protease for protein, lipase for fat, lactase for dairy, and alpha-galactosidase for beans and veggies, plus bromelain and papain from pineapple and papaya. They also include three Lactobacillus probiotic strains.*
Take 1 capsule twice a day, 20 to 30 minutes before a meal, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Bromelain and papain come from pineapple and papaya, so skip this if you're allergic to either. They may also add to the effect of blood thinners, so check with your doctor if you take one. If digestive trouble is frequent or severe, see a doctor rather than relying on a supplement. Check with a doctor first if you're pregnant or nursing, under 18, or have a medical condition.
